Description

Rainmaker is a 45ft cruiser stern narrowboat built by STS in 2006, and has done 2187 hours. She has a Vetus Mitsubishi 415, 33 diesel engine, and has 2 solar panels.

On entry to the enclosed bedroom, fitted with an extendable double bed with ample storage below, there is a single wardrobe fitted at the foot of the bed housing the electrics and an inverton, and provides additional storage to the boat. Next is the off-corridor shower room, fitted with a large stand-up shower, Thetford Cassette WC (2 additional cassettes also available), and a vanity basin. Into the walkthrough galley, fitted with a gas oven purchased in 2024 with grill, and 4-burner hob, Fridge with freezer compartment, storage unit with drawers and cupboard, and a sink. Finally, into the saloon, the sofa, purchased in 2023, is included. There is an additional tall cupboard for storage, a bookshelf and TV cabinet.

Rainmaker has been very well maintained and looked after during it’s current ownership, and benefits from Webasto gas central heating, and has a calorifier for heating the water. Since being purchased in 2012, it has been taken out of the water and the bottom blacked each year (last done in 2023), and has been serviced annually (receipts available).

There is an existing Boat Safety Certificate onboard until March 2028.

It was shotblasted down to the metal, and hand painted by Cheshire Brush in 2021. It had new canopies fitted, front and back in 2023.
