| Reference: | 2212 Evolution |
Evolution is a stunning example of quality at its best. Built in 2015, she boasts the sleek lines of a Tyler Wilson shell, and the first class fit out of Milburn Boats - she was their last build. She oozes luxury and finesse throughout.
She has been extremely well cared for, benefiting from grit blasting, zinc coating and 2pk Epoxy (including the base plate) in 2022, the paintwork remains in excellent condition and the gas lockers were repainted in 2025.
The elegant bows house the gas bottles in the forward locker and the stainless steel water tank sits under the 4’ well deck. The well deck has bench seats around with made to measure cushions over the storage lockers.
Steps through glazed front doors lead into the saloon. The woodwork is striking as you enter; bamboo floor, ash fit out with curved lines throughout - the carpentry is a feature throughout the boat, and it is stunning. The saloon houses a large L-shaped sofa bed, a wall mounted TV/DVD and beautifully crafted and spacious cupboards on either side.
The pullman style dinette follows; this has side hatches (with inner sliding windows) next to it either side of the boat, and storage underneath. The aft bench has a 12v slide out freezer underneath. The dinette converts to a spare double berth.
The stylish walk through galley follows. Its curved worktops are made of Corian, and the curved wooden cupboard doors are a thing of beauty. Utilities comprise of a 4 burner gas hob, stainless steel sink and drainer, a tower of microwave oven, grill, oven & 12v fridge. A washing machine is opposite. There is a phenomenal amount of storage including an under floor wine chiller.
The luxurious bathroom is a walk through arrangement, and the pumpout loo is cleverly appointed in its own self contained room. There is an additional (unused) Porta Potti on board for emergencies. The door folds back and doubles as the bathroom door. The shower cubicle is large, and the basin is a stylish circular ceramic counter top. A towel rail will take the chill off in winter.
The bedroom is large at over 10’ and hosts a 5’ wide cross bed. There is ample storage in here with two large floor to ceiling cupboards and a huge wardrobe. A wall mounted TV is at the foot of the bed.
Steps lead in to the aft cabin, housing the well maintained Beta 43 (with hospital silencer) and all the electrics. Navigation is aided by a Vetus 75kgf bowthruster.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel system connected to 3 radiators and a towel rail. Hot water is via the Webasto, engine or immersion.
12v power is via 2x 300w of lithium, with a separate starter and bowthruster supply, topped up by 1.8kw of solar! 240v power is via landline or Victron 3kva inverter/charger. Lighting on board is LED throughout.
I have run out of words bar two.....lovely boat.
