Gallivant is a lovely example of the Chuck Paine designed long-keel yacht. Built in 1985 by Victoria yachts in Warsash on the Hamble river, this canoe stern mast head sloop developed a loyal following as "The Passage Maker" and Gallivant is testament of this with a number of passages to Norway. She is built for long distance cruising and is equipped for this with a Monitor Windvane steering system, Hank-on sail on removable inner forestay, twin bow rollers, Electric windlass with remote control. She has an extensive sail inventory with stack pack and lazy lines. For internal comfort she comes with hot and cold running water and an Eberspacher diesel heater. A Nelson Twin burner gas cooker with grill and oven ensures hot food on long passages.
