"Spiders" Wayfarer Mark 2 Sail number 8957. Built 1990 in GRP.
Coppercoat antifouled hull (2024) so ideal for keeping on a mooring, as she has been for past 4 summers.

"Spiders" is a much-loved Mark 2 Wayferer, regularly sailed around the coasts of Essex from its mooring in Brightlingsea. Her hull ha just been Coppercoated so she's optimised for keeping on a mooring.

She is set up for both single and double handed cruising, with an excellent Aero Luff reefing genoa and mainsail slab reefing system and a 12:1 kicking strap system, adjustable from both side decks.

She's easy to sail, with an aft mainsheet and lightweight Suzuki 2hp two-stroke outboard for the days when the wind dies.

She's suffered a few bumps and scratches over the years, so won't win any races or prizes for her looks, but if you're looking for a robust Wayfarer to keep on a mooring or for cruising then she's ideal.
