Accommodation

The Westerly Centaur offers accommodation for up to six people spread across two cabins.

The fore cabin has a vee berth with under-berth storage and infill, which converts it into a double berth.
There is a separate Head's compartment equipped with a Beris marine toilet with Tabasco Pump and a removable wash basin. There is a wetlocker opposite the Heads
The saloon offers a central table, with benches on both forward and soft sides which can be made into a double berth. It offering convenient under-seat and some shelf storage. The port side also has a single berth Pilots Berth.
On the starboard side forward within the saloon, the galley has a 2-burner gas stove and grill, a single sink supplied with manual cold water, and ample storage space. Gas System replaced in 2017 and all the cushions were replaced in 2023 with non-flammable foam. Aft of the sink sits a further quarter berth with the batteries and heating system underneath.
Ascending the companionway leads to the aft cockpit, complete with bench seating with new cushions comfortably accommodating four people and offering generous storage within a deep locker to aft. The cockpit includes a compass, depth gauge, speed log, wind gauge and chartplotter and the engine controls.

This Centaur is also equipped with two 12-volt batteries, comprising one for engine use and one for domestic purposes. These batteries charge directly from the engine alternator.

This Centaur has a Masthead Bermudan sloop rig, with a deck-stepped aluminium Mast and boom. The Standing rigging was replaced in 2017 and much of the running rigging has also been replaced by the owner since purchase in 2016. It is equipped with a furling headsail and a slab reef mainsail with the option of 2 reefs. New winches were installed on the Cabin top so most sail change operations to be carried out from the cockpit.
