Bliss of Wight is a Mk11 Westerly Corsair built in 1989. She is a strong robust sailing boat with very comfortable accommodation. The MK11 version has the full owners heads in the aft cabin, in this case with holding tank. See full details below. I am reluctantly offering her for sale as I no longer have time to use her. Bliss is an excellent live aboard or long distance cruiser as well as being ideal for cruising the islands.

Bliss of Wight is a centre cockpit sloop and sleeps up to 8. We have cruised comfortably with 5/6 adults on board.
She has a large aft cabin with ensuite toilet, wash basin etc. These heads have a holding tank. The double bed is larger than standard and is very comfortable as a conventional mattress covers the berth cushions.
Behind the chart table is a navigators berth with trotter box, this is a very good sea berth with a lee cloth. The chart table is proper size ie. half Admiralty chart.
The galley has a gas stove with two burners, grill and oven. There are double stainless sinks and a top opening fridge and top opening store as well as a lot of cupboard space. The work surfaces are tiled.
The fridge compressor is situated through the bulkhead in the large cockpit locker so there is no noise or heat generated in the living area.
The fridge will make ice in 24 hours or less and can be left on permanently even when sailing, see power/battery configuration details below.
On the port side of the main saloon is a curved settee which converts to a double bed, opposite is a single berth with lee board which is also an excellent sea berth.
The forward heads have a shower. All sinks have hot and cold water mixer taps. As well as calorifier there is an immersion heater that is on automatically on shore power.
Two hanging lockers opposite these heads and door to the for'd double v berth cabin.
Curtains, mosquito netting, window blinds all fitted.
There is a 12v tv which is used for dvds and a stereo with extra speakers that go out to the cockpit.
220/240 volt 3 pin plugs throughout. Also an inverter with extension for charging most items.
Eberspacher heating with outlets in the main saloon, aft and forward cabins.
The cockpit has a fold down table, excellent cover, fixed spray hood etc.
There is a shower (hot and cold mixer) in the cockpit that will also reach to the stern ladder.
Heavily built strong boat. Rigid and capable in a seaway.
Sails - brand new slab reefing main with stowable lazy jacks, Roller no 1 and 2. Detachable inner forestay with hank on no 3. Storm jib on the list! Spinnaker.
35lb CQR stern anchor with roller and 50mts chain to anchor locker below aft cabin bed. Bow anchor Rocna (very secure), 50 mts chain with Lofrans electric windlass with long power lead which will reach to the cockpit. You can Med moor with anchor single handed as the stern is flatish and there are two large ball fenders!
Two 6 amp solar panels total 6 batteries, one for engine start the rest are deep cycle one adjacent to windlass total amp hours 550. All bulbs are low energy so you can run fridge (very well insulated) and as many lights, stereo, dvd etc. etc. as you like without running out of power.

New stand alone instruments fitted 2017, log, wind and echo sounder.
Cockpit chart plotter with AIS receiver, autohelm, new echo sounder, wind and log fitted 2017. Fixed GPS x 2 one in cockpit one at chart table plus hand GPS. Windex with reflective strips. Radar fitted but not working. HB compass. Lead line.
