Ocean Dawn was built by Richard Ironworks of Lowestoft in 1956. She was built as one of a quartet for Bloomfields of Great Yarmouth. The other three were Ocean Surf YH107, Ocean Crest YH207, and Ocean Trust YH377. This vessel has had a complete refit in 2008, including both engine rebuilds. The twin MWMTBD234V push her all day at 19 knots with a sprint of 23 knots.
