The time has come to move on our 2009 Lune Whammel Coastal Weekender. We've had her a few years now but rarely get chance to sail her as often as we should - especially under current conditions. We normally have her on Kielder Water Reservoir but that's a 350 mile round trip for us and to be honest, we're finding it more of a chore as the years go by. She's been sitting on our driveway (with the trailer on axle stands since last October) and doesn't deserve that.
The boat itself can only be described as immaculate, fully kitted out and ready to use. She comes with a s... read more

Built in 2019 and cosmetically updated winter 2020 this is a pure fun based taste of the old world. Based on historic Scandinavian and old English working boats with a little American Skiff and Dory thrown in. The very name "Skerry" means "small boat" in old Norse or "Small Island" in old Celt.
Built out of Okume Ply and Glass fibre laminations.
The Skerry is designed for capable sailing on all points of sail and is effortless to row, and she does so with ease. Rowing, with even basic 8'6'' Oars (included), she carry's with every stroke ... read more
14ft 5" home built clinker ply cruising dinghy designed by Iain Oughtred. Currently built with a Bermudan rig but I have timber (douglas fir) for spars for conversion to standing lug rig. I also had plans to add additional built-in buoyancy and have marine ply sheets and timber for the deck beams all purchased from Robbins timber in Bristol. Hull is in good condition but conversion to lug rig not completed and all fittings currently removed and supplied separately. Selling due to house move and lack of space.
Includes good quality crisp sails for Bermudan rig, boom up cover and road t... read more
Traditional Shetland racing class derived from earlier sixern fishing boats. These beautiful clinker double enders with gunter rig and internal lead ballast are increasingly rare. "Freya" was built by Allcraft in Lerwick and has been well maintained in my possession for 45 yrs. The mast and sails have been replaced. Road trailer and cover are included. She sails beautifully and needs a younger owner. Price negotiable... read more

The Post Boat hulls originate from the 1900's post boat which used to deliver post around the Scottish coast. With her beamy hull and shallow draught, these boats are perfect for exploring creeks and coastal inlets, plus they're easy to launch and recover. Simple to rig and short enough to store in your garage at home. Great for teaching a family learning to sail. Sails well in light airs, can also be rowed when the wind dies.
