This is a lovely boat, first built on the south coast (Shoreham I believe) for the Navy, in 1969, and worked as a fast harbour launch in Gibralter and possibly Malta up until the turn of the (21st) century. There is an association with the navy ship "HMS Collingwood", hence the name, but I think it more likely that the association is with the training establishment HMS Collingwood in Portsmouth.
