Sadler 32 - 1982 - £19,500
The Sadler 32 needs little introduction - it is a design that is well known for her abilities in pretty well all conditions - one would expect nothing less from David Sadler, who also designed the hugely capable Contessa 32! By comparison, the Sadler 32 offers more accommodation volume and a reassuringly deep cockpit.
This example has the standard 1.7m fin keel and has been owned by the current owners since 2009. In their ownership they have updated her with - amongst other things - a new 27hp diesel engine, gearbox and prop (fitted in 2012) currentl... read more

Sadler 25s are known for being solid little boats that still sail very well, and this makes them an ideal first boat or a boat for more adventurous waters. She's been in our ownership for over 10 years and in that time we've modernised and upgraded most systems inside and out to transform this boat into a comfortable wee go-anywhere adventure cruiser. She has explored all over the Scottish West Coast from the Clyde to Skye. Launched in 1980, she's over 40 years old, now, but we've tried hard to keep her looking smart and in good sailing order. She still sails well to her ha... read more

Only two owners from new this yacht has been very lightly used, no blue water sailing!
Purchased by the current owner in 2011 for £94K, with just just one owner previously.
She is being sold because she does not get the use she deserves.
During both ownerships she has been meticulous maintained and improved extensively!
It is extremely rare to find a boat of this age in the condition she has been presented for sale.
She is a fast and very comfortable cruiser/racer! She can be easily cruised short-handed. The designer was Stephen Jones. Thirty-four of the Starlight 39s were pr... read more

The Sadler 32 was designed by David Sadler, who is probably better known for the Contessa 32. Between 1979 and 1989 there were 300 Sadler 32s built, this is number 290. They are well laid out, easy to handle and ideal for cruising short-handed and club racing fully crewed.
She's been ashore for a couple of years now but feels like a good solid example of a great design. She will require some recommissioning but comes well specified and equipped for cruising with heating and hot water and a holding tank all extra to the standard spec
She's ashore in a good yard so inspection is easy

Kahu is a lovely example of a Sadler 25 in need of some TLC to get her back to her best. She’s the shallow fin keel version, built in 1981 and offering great sailing performance whether single-handed or cruising with friends/family.
The Yanmar 1GM10 engine was running when Kahu was last in the water (late 2018). It currently turns over but does not start. It may just require bleeding but more serious intervention may be required (possibly even replacement). The hatch above the engine has been leaking leading to some cosmetic corrosion on the engine. A clean-up and paint may resolve bu... read more
