Indigo is different. Unlike most brokers and online boat sales portals, which only work for the seller, Indigo can act for the buyer too.

Indigo Yachting is the brainchild of two British yacht brokers with over 35 years of combined experience in selling boats.

“We created Indigo Yachting to bring the process of buying or selling a boat up-to-date. The end result combines the ease of an online boat sales portal with the added value of our real-life brokerage skills and services.” – Indigo Yachting Founder, Mark Ellyatt

“Our carefully selected Seller Packages and Buyer Packages provide everything you’ll ever need when buying or selling a boat . There’s no long-term subscriptions or scary brokerage fees, you just pay for what you need, if and when you need it. It’s basically Pay-As-You-Go brokerage services for buyers as well as sellers.” – Indigo Yachting Founder, Jonty Stubbs

Traditionally, there have only been two ways to sell a boat:

1: Sell Privately at low cost but without the experience or expertise of a professional broker, often leading to minimal exposure and ineffective marketing.

2: Commission a broker to handle the sale from start to finish but pay a premium for this service, most brokers will have a minimum fee of between £1,750 and £3,000

Indigo Yachting has developed a ‘Third Way’ which helps sellers sell and buyers buy with confidence.

In 2000, she proudly claimed the Renaissance Trophy for Classic yachts in the Round the Island race. Passing through different hands, TOKI ... read more
