This really is a superb and well found example of the very popular Maxum 2700. The presentation is spot on. She has obviously been a much loved boat. The low hours, MPI engine and excellent equipment levels make her a highly desirable sports cruiser.

Westerly Yachts were renowned for building good boats and the Westerly Griffon is no exception. It was the replacement for the Centaur which was a hard act to follow. The sailing abilities of the Griffon are exceptional for a bilge keel boat. She is easily manoeuvrable and very capable in adverse conditions.

The amount of detail we have been able to gather for this particular boat is not quite as thorough as we normally are able to supply. For example, we do not know for sure the ages of the sails, engine hours or age of standing rigging. That said, she is in commission and been sailed locally here on the Milford Haven by her keen sailor owner. Everything works as it should as far as we have been informed. There is a lot of recent (and expensive) electronics on her and for the size of boat. As with many boat at time of the season, she could use a wash, the owner is planning to do this when access ... read more
The Halcyon 27 needs no long winded introduction here. Those that know them, love them. This boat model has an active following. This particular one is of the rare bilge keel version, which is very handy in this part of the world.
Boatshed (Plymouth) has listed and previously sold this boat to the owner who has now placed her for sale with us again, as he is now upgrading with a new yacht. It is possible to find her advert from that time as search engines can still find the deleted page from that original advert. That advert and this read very similarly as the boat has not changed in that tim... read more
This is a well found and pleasant little boat. She is in her original gelcoat, which is in remarkably good condition, as are the screens/perspex. Admittedly she would benefit from a quick cut and polish, but most boats do at this time of year. She has a recent service history with Dale Sailing who have also stored her ashore on their dry rack. She is all up and together, the engine starts and runs well. A new gearbox was fitted 2018, new covers (tonneau and sprayhood/frame) and chartplotter supplied and fitted in 2019.
Her interior is worth a mention. It is clean and very smart with the new (... read more

The cockpit arch, which handles the mainsheets , keeps the cockpit clear making sailing much safer. The real winner is the accommodation. As you de... read more
This Italian designed yacht stands out from the rest. She has had an extensive upgrade and refurbishment by her fastidious owner. I have never seen such an immaculate engine room.
She has 2 Caterpillar 3176B engines which cruise effortlessly at 20 knots and reach a top speed of 30 knots and she can deal with any adverse weather conditions that may arise.
She is an exceptionally comfortable and well fitted out vessel with a master cabin, 2 double cabins, a single cabin and another cabin with bunk beds. The master cabin has a walk in wardrobe and a separate study. Both heads have showers. Th... read more

As a motor sailor the Colvic Watson 29 has all the credentials required. She is extremely well built with the ability to handle the most adverse weather conditions, whilst keeping her crew both safe and dry. This version has the advantage of being able to dry out on moorings, harbours or sandy beaches and she can also navigate shallow creeks. If you had to make the comparison to a vehicle she would be a Land Rover Discovery or a Range Rover.
The well appointed interior has a double berth in the forward cabin with the heads to port and a dinette, which can convert to a double. The galley is op... read more
