Built in 1982-84 and launched in 1985, this Tradewind 35 is a moderately heavy displacement long-keeled yacht. This example has a Hydrovane self-steering gear and wind generator on the stern, and excellent sails. She was coppercoated in early 2021. Internally she is in nice condition, with good upholstery and Mikuni blown air heating. In the present ownership for 14 years, she is for sale now only because of a bereavement.

One of the most popular of the smaller Moodys, the 31 has excellent accommodation including a good-sized aft double cabin. In the present much loved ownership for 14 years, she is for sale now only because of a bereavement. The inventory includes a barely used full cockpit canopy and davits, a recently fitted electric windlass, and internally she has newish upholstery and hot water.

This Yarmouth 23 was built as a demonstration boat for the builders, and was exhibited at the 2012 and 2013 Southampton Boat Shows. Now in her second private ownership she is for sale as other commitments are giving less and less opportunities for the owner to sail her.
She has Burmese teak decks and a non-standard larger engine at 20 hp, with very low hours. To see larger photos and a detailed inventory list go to our own Yachtsnet website at www.yachtsnet.co.uk...

She has spacious accommodation for up to 6 including a good sized aft double cabin. This is the relatively rare twin keel version of the Westerly Seahawk 35, a moderately heavy displacement centre-cockpit cruiser that combines very good accommodation, with a particularly large double aft cabin, with the solid build quality and generally high standard of interior joinery of the later bigger Westerlys. This yacht has been in the same ownership for 18 years, and is only now reluctantly for sale because of the owners inability to use her fully....

The Contessa 32 is a classic cruiser-racer, whose combination of speed and seaworthiness was proved in the ill-fated 1979 Fastnet Race. Whilst the interior is small for a "modern" 32-footer, a Contessa can make passages in weather that will keep most other boats firmly in harbour. This 1979 example has been in the same ownership for 30 years, has been re-engined, and has some nice additions such as a removable Neptune windvane self-steering gear, and telescopic aluminium beaching legs that can stow below. For many owners of a Contessa 32 the icing on the cake is how elegant the yacht...

The Bavaria 34 is actually closer to 36 ft overall rather than 34 ft, and in the words of 'Practical Boat Owner' magazine, is ".... an ideal starter boat for a young family, as well as an easy to handle cruiser for a mature couple often cruising alone." This 2000 example (a 2021 model year) is a well looked after and quite lightly used example of these popular cruisers, with a good cruising inventory. The present owner bought her through us two years ago, and has improved her substantially, fitting a bow thruster and a new 12" chartplotter as well as upgrading the auto...

This Westerly 33 is a much-travelled example of these solid, powerful cruising yachts. In the same ownership for over 25 years, she has been used for family cruising, and the present owner also sailed her in the OSTAR single-handed transatlantic race in 2009, finishing third in class. She has a good inventory including radar and autopilot, and the hull had a full osmosis treatment in 2017/18.

This is a really well looked after and updated example of these popular family cruisers. This First 285 has wheel steering, unlike most which are tiller steered. She has excellent recent sails, and an inventory that includes good electronics, cabin heating and a full cockpit "camper" cover. The interior is in immaculate condition, and the dark blue hull also looks very good indeed. This yacht is the "Clipper" version, which includes some nice extras over the basic specification. She is for sale now as the owner intends to buy a larger yacht.
