The staysail yacht Nordwind is considered one of the oldest still seagoing steel yachts in the world. About the history: The Nordwind was built in 1898 as a cargo sailer in a German shipyard in Northern Germany. An excellent sailer. It was not until 1912 that the first engine was installed.
