Description

Spacious Groninger Tjalk measuring 19.17m by 4.05m. Transformed into a pleasure yacht between 2002 and 2005 by the previous Dutch owner. Nothing was neglected at the time, both technically and in terms of life on board: central heating, two cabins, two bathrooms, insulating double glazing, oak joinery, generator, bow thruster, etc. Autonomy has been a priority, with an advanced electrical system (solar) and a sanitary water filtration unit. The current owners bought the boat in 2008 and live aboard all year round (as well as sailing a lot). This was their very first river experience, and it proved to be a success that has now lasted for 15 years. A reconditioned Deutz engine was installed in 2008. A number of investments have also been made, including a new HDPE water tank last year.


Wietske is a very pleasant boat to live aboard and to sail. It's easy to maintain, with removable solid parquet flooring providing access to almost the entire surface of the boat. The living spaces on the first level (terrace and wheelhouse with open-plan saloon) are spacious and convivial. The second level comprises a vast galley, followed by the cabins and bathrooms. The level of service is high, and the reliability is there for all to see. A survey was carried out in 2022 and found the hull to be in excellent condition. Other photos are available, including technical ones. After 15 years of complete satisfaction, the time has come for the happy owners of Wietske to move on to other projects. A very beautiful unit, a must-see.
