Zigani 46ft liveaboard
A 46ft ferrocement Bluewater cruiser built to a very high spec for long distance travel, this boat has already traversed the Atlantic 3x since being built in 1982.
Zigani spent the first 20 years of its life circumnavigating the Americas before an Atlantic crossing to the South Africa to spend some years cruising around the magnificent coastline.
Ultimately the boat then crossed back to America before being brought back to the English shores by its new British owner. Around 2005 the boat was lifted and stored at a marina where the new owners had the boat refitted with full ash interior however ill health ultimately forced their hand to sell the boat.
I bought the boat 2 years ago during lockdown with the intention of bringing it back to its former glory and sailing the world however plans have changed so I’m no longer able to.
The boat has had a reconditioned ford 2711e Diesel fitted.
The rear of the boat has new floorboards and new woodwork replaced almost all over.
The deck has been resanded and stained and is a full solid teak deck with plenty of life left.
She has a 6kw diesel generator at the front of the boat that runs independently from the main engine and with a separate fuel tank with around 80hrs from new.
There’s a solar charger, large anchor and electric windlass and wind generator to be included in the sale of the boat .
