Two years ago I had Skag out the water,.
Dealt with a couple of rust spots, light sand down of the copper coat and applied 3 new coats of copper coat. Left to cure for 4 days then light sand down to expose the copper.
General examination of all underwater fittings - bow thruster, rudder,depth finder, forward looking sonar and fish finder. All found in good order.
Main engine returned to Lancing Marine in UK for complete rebuild. Only 20 hours run since re installation.
