The Three-Legged Jack-up Rig, T-2005 C2 type, is a robust offshore drilling platform initially constructed in 1984 by CFEM in Dunkerque, France with prestigious quality and focus on safety. The rig was extensively refurbished in 2013. Classified under DNV + A1 MODU in line with IMO Resolution A414xi, the rig is designed for efficient and safe offshore shallow waters drilling campaigns globally.
With a length of 75 meters, a width of 86 meters, and a leg length of 133.5 meters, the rig can operate in waters with a draft of 9.5 meters and depths up to 55 meters. Powered by three Wartsila engines (2,800 horsepower each), a Raudounin (372 kW), and MOTORMIL (332 kW), the rig ensures reliable energy generation. The CFEM jacking system, with a capacity of 8,838 kips per leg and a jacking speed of 0.45 meters per minute, facilitates stable drilling operations.
Featuring an octagonal helideck compliant with CAP 437 standards, the rig accommodates helicopters like Sikorsky S-61, S-92, and Eurocopter Super Puma, facilitating personnel transfer. The living quarters, designed for comfort, can accommodate 70 persons on board (POB) initially, with the flexibility to expand to 136 POB. Storm-ready, the rig can withstand a significant wave height of 23 meters, wind speeds up to 83 knots, and surface currents of 2 knots.
Equipped with an efficient mooring system, the rig features electric winches, substantial mooring lines, and a combination of Delta Flipper and Danforth anchors. With tank capacities of 2,438 barrels for water and 3,269 barrels for diesel, the rig ensures operational sustainability.
