Description

The tugboat is classified in Category 3 (20 nautical miles from the coast). Its classification society is Bureau Veritas, and it flies the French flag.
The deck was fully sandblasted in 2023. There is no generator on board, but there is a 24V to 220V transformer (3000W), as well as 12V and 24V circuits. The engine power is 402 HP, with a fuel consumption of approximately 55 liters of diesel per hour. The fuel capacity is 8,000 liters of diesel.
A battery charger with shore connection is available on board.
The hull thickness inspections were carried out in 2022.
The bow plate was replaced following thickness measurements.
According to the latest Bureau Veritas report, there are 2 hull-to-frame connections in the aft peak that need repair.
The radar is out of service (radome issue).
There is 1 GPS and a chart plotter.
For fire suppression, there are 2 CO? bottles (50 kg each), controlled from the bridge with an alarm, as well as 5 portable fire extinguishers and 2 SOLAS liferafts (6-person capacity), with inspections valid until 2024 inclusive.
