Schooner Dallinghoo - Stunning 30.4m (99ft LOA) schooner first built in 1990 but has undergone a 3 year keel up rebuild from 2014 to 2016 now at her very best and operating as a top luxury charter yacht in South East Asia. Currently based Thailand and just completed a refit and preparations for her re-launch, ready for the new high season in November 2024. Please contact us to discuss viewing. A turn key charter business, yacht fully set up for chartering, including website and listings around the world with many brokers and charter agents. Everything in place to go straight into operation.

During the current out of water refit we have completed a number of items including:- a full hull paint job (two pack epoxy), cleaning and painting the fuel, fresh water and black water tanks, all bulwarks painted and fully cleaned treated and painted the bilges. In addition to the painting works we have also serviced the engine and full rebuilt the main generator back to 'zero hours', fitted and stern gland assembly, serviced the bow-thruster and fitted a new 24v deck winch.

Set up with five double cabins plus a crew cabin forward for 4 crew with separate forward access - operated currently for high end charters so have 6 crew and offer 4 cabins / 8 berths for guests.

Interior is all new during the rebuild and is modern and light with hard wood trim and floors, fully air conditioned throughout and with all modern facilities you would expect on a new yacht.

Exterior has the look and feel of a classic schooner yet again nearly everything is new.

Fully inclusive charter rate from per day - including full use of the vessel and her crew including all fuel, food and soft drinks

Accommodation

Interior was fully rebuilt in 2016 and the design is light and modern with plenty of solid hardwood trim and finishes, she is full air-conditioned throughout and fitted with all the modern features one would expect with HD TV and USB charging points etc.

Accommodation is made up of 5 cabins in the main section, 4 doubles and a twin cabin all with ensuite facilities, vacuflush toilet system and hot and cold water etc.

A separate 4 berth crew cabin is forward with it's own entrance from the fore deck.

When chartering we sail with up to six crew and the captain and wife team use a guest cabin and we offer charters for up to eight guests.

The interior along with the whole vessel is fully operational and fitted out with the all the fine china, bedding cookware that you would ever need.

Construction

Dallinghoo is off the drawing board of the renowned naval architect / yacht designer Dudley Dix of Rhode Island New York. Built in South Africa in 1990 she sailed the world before landing in South East Asia where the years caught up with her. Purchased by her current owner in 2014 and underwent a 3 year rebuild which included a 3.5m stern extension, 40% of her plating was replaced below the waterline and 15% of the plating above. She was full faired and finished in a full Awlgrip paint job.

Her interior was fully replaced and she had a new solid teak deck fitted, inside and out she is to be considered as new.

Equipment

Most of Dallinghoo's equipment was replaced new in 2016 and if not was fully stripped down and serviced. Equipment is of the type you would expect to find on a super yacht of Dallinghoo's standard including:-

2 x CQR Anchors with 2000w Logan 24v Windlass (plus powered capstan)
Bow Thruster
2 x Generators
220v & 24v systems throughout, 5000w inverter
220v sockets throughout all fitted with twin USB charging points
1 x Powerful alternator off main engine, can run entire vessel (not including Aircon) without the need of the generators
Vacuflush toilet system with black and grey water holding tanks
LED lighting throughout including a number of powerful LED deck flood lights


Communication Equipment includes:-

4 x Icon handheld VHF radio
1 x Icon SSB Radio
1 x Irridian Handheld Sat Phone

Dallinghoo has been wired with a twin GSM SIM Card router with twin external antennas (fitted to spreaders) supplying WIFI internet throughout

1 x Classic McNaulty sailing dinghy with 3 hp Yamaha engine

We have BBQ and beach equipment and when all the fun outside is finished we carry a hard-drive library with over 2,000 movies on it for viewing on our HD TV systems.

We carry a full set of tools for nearly any task, far more than most other yachts.

We have a vast inventory of spare parts on board - this inventory alone runs into 10's of thousands of US$

Navigation Equipment

2017 Upgraded Navigation package from Raymarine including:-

Stand alone Garmin plotter back up.

We carry a vast portfolio of British Admiralty Charts covering the entire region of South East Asia.

All the other associated bits and pieces one would expect on a yacht of this calibre.

Engine(s)

Main Engine - Perkins T6.354.4 - 185HP Original 1990 engine however fully rebuilt in May 2019 - every part stripped down and most replaced with new parts the rest, tested cleaned and serviced, all auxiliary equipment overhauled also in May 2019 such as fuel and injector pumps, water pumps and oil and water coolers. This engine was put back to as near to zero hours as can be made. Gearbox was brand new in August 2016 and a PRM500.

Main Generator:- Northern Lights 628 - Low hours and in near new condition

Stand-By Generator - Paguro 12000V - Brand New in 2016 low hours and will run the yacht less the air conditioning.

Sails & Spars

A full set of seven tan bark sails, 3 new sails including a new main sail.

Both masts, booms and top masts were removed and serviced and painted in 2016.

All standing rigging is stainless steel and fully serviced and surveyed in 2016.

Full set of 12 Lewmar manual 2 speed winches. - All bronze/brass.

1 Lewmar 24v Electric winch - Bronze/brass in keeping with the other winches.

LOGAN 2,000w anchor windlass with top power capstan.

Safety Equipment

Full set up for chartering with 8 guests and 6 crew.
