Premier Houseboats are pleased to present Hermus, a houseboat project on a residential mooring within walking distance of the historic town of Rochester.
As can be seen from the photographs, Hermus is a complete project both internally and externally. She does, however, offer space below decks for two good sized bedrooms, a snug and a family bathroom, with good headroom throughout.
Although the hull is steel the super structure is wooden, and can be extended to create a good sized open plan kitchen/lounge area, with space for a small decking area.
Although originally built as a cruising boat, Hermus had her engines removed some time ago and is no ready for somebody to convert into a good sized static home.
The main value of Hermes is obviously in her mooring, it's residential status enabling you the opportunity to live securely within a marina and create an affordable home. Hermus is priced to sell and takes into account the residential status of the mooring as well as the size of the project. To this end, although any interested parties are welcome to have a survey on the vessel, the asking price will not be subject to survey.
|Length over all:
All boats listed are sold on a secure residential mooring unless otherwise stated. It is, of course, your responsibility to introduce yourself to the mooring or marina owners to discuss continuation of the mooring. Most residential moorings are secure areas with mains electric and water provided, mooring fees for a secure residential mooring tend to be between £1 and £1.60 per foot of length per week.
