A classic Westerly designed to compete successfully with the best in the 1970's. Still competitive within club racing, masthead rigged 'Sighiri' is now available at an attractive price. With emphasis on racing, the mainsail has been replaced this season, (the original still usable) the furling genoa cleaned and serviced, spinnaker and spinnaker pole with associated control lines.
Internally there are 3/4 berths with cushions, a sea toilet, two burner gas hob, fire extinguisher and fire blanket, cold water sink, a VHF radio and FM radio/cd player. Electrical supply is from one battery that is charged by a regulated solar panel.
A Navman Multi 3100 display shows speed, depth, battery voltage, water temperature, trip and total trip distance plus countdown timer.
The hull was recently painted with self polishing anti-fouling, the deck painted with anti-slip paint. The original advert referred to a Mercury outboard, this will be replaced by a 5 hp Suzuki motor that has an integral fuel tank with connection for remote fuel tank.
A substantial bespoke storage cradle is included in the price. The boat is afloat in Brixham, Devon available for viewing or
trial.
