Grace has been my pride and joy for the last 14 years, but advancing years (mine) is compelling me to find her new owner. Like all the Westerly family, she is safe, comfortable and reliable. She is the twin, bilge keel version. Standing and running rigging is all sound with all sheets, halyards etc leading back to the cockpit. Engine was replaced about 5 years ago. She has been with the same owner for almost 30 years who has now retired from sailing.
New Beta 20 engine fitted approx. 2013 by TS Marine. Reported to have run less than 100hrs since install.
Hull and superstructure in original gelcoat which appears in good condition considering the age of the boat.

The Westerly Griffon is a 26ft (7.9m) 6 berth, 2 cabin GRP sailing sloop, designed by Ed Dubois as a more modern, better-performing replacement for the older Westerly Centaur design. Griffons were built from 1979 to 1989, with three models - Mk I, Mk II and Club variants.
The Mk II has a better appointed quality interior with a very useful central table, as well as the bigger 20hp BUKH engine and a taller more efficient rig.
The only possible reason to buy a Mk1 is that there are no MkIIs available!
