Paris Ile-de-France France|
We now add a unique ship to the countless special objects that AWN has had in its portfolio as a broker over the years.
Bateau Release is an exceptionally beautiful barge owned by car manufacturer Renault and currently moored in Paris. Until recently, the Release was used for presentations and boat trips with invited guests, with which Renault S.A. liked to express his connection to the River Seine. As can be expected from such a prestige object, the state of maintenance is therefore perfect!
The Release was built in 1964 at Chantier Plaquet in Belgium and was last at the yard in 2017. The ship measures 38.78 x 5.05 meters, propelled by a Scania DI13 071M engine. Naturally, the Release has all the certificates for navigating the European inland waterways and rivers.
The format is as follows:
From the wheelhouse, equipped with all navigation and communication facilities, a fixed staircase leads to the deckhouse of the ship, where there is a living room, a bathroom, a sleeping and a galley for the skipper.
Outside there is a spacious covered terrace of 60m2 with a wide fixed staircase to the lower deck. Here you first end up in the wardrobe space, including two toilets with a storage room behind it.
From the cloakroom you enter the large, luxurious and beautifully designed lounge area where daylight is given ample space through the many portholes and the round skylights. This room is equipped with a large television screen, beamer projection and a beautiful sound system. Air conditioning and ventilation are also available. At the back is a steel spiral staircase that leads to the emergency exit.
For the catering of guests there is a well-equipped kitchen on board as well as a spacious bar equipped with various built-in appliances.
The Release is a ship with many possibilities. With a new destination one can think of various commercial purposes, but also a relatively simple adaptation to an extremely luxurious houseboat requires very little imagination!
