These are two 163’ Ice Offshore patrol Vessels built in Finland in 199 and 2004. They are perfectly suited for a wide range of multi-purpose roles as Navy duty, coast guard duty, Boarder force duty - Oil and gas platform, installation and pipeline protection and patrolling. They can also perform arial and subsea drone awareness and border protection duties.
The ships have dynamic position and can operate and move on one Azipod bow thruster at low speeds with very low fuel consumption. The ships are DNV Ice Class C and are designated for towing, salvage and rescue and are able to operate in all weather and sea conditions. There is an integral stern RIB ramp for fast and safe launch and recovery operations underway.
There is a knuckle-deck crane, cargo storage and FiFi capability. The interior is fully air-conditioned and heated and includes 9 cabins for 18 berths.
Twin Wartsila diesels provide service speed of 19-21 knots and max speed is 25 knots.
The ships were dry docked and went through special survey in 2023 and are fully operational and ready to work. They are very well priced for their high specification, excellent condition and capabilities.
