1969 Seadog 30 Ketch
The Seadog 30 Ketch is a solid, heavy, bilge keeled yacht capable of safe offshore passage-making. Designed and built by Reg Freeman Yachts they are truly versatile, as well suited crossing oceans as they are cruising creeks. Her safe centre cockpit helm position and furling sails mean she can be easily singlehanded yet the cleverly thought out interior makes a great liveaboard space Although on deck she could do with some cosmetic attention she appears very sound and below she feels clean and dry. With the full enclosure the cockpit is a usable space with plenty of seating so you really ca... read more

1988 Van de Stadt Slipper 42
The first three Slipper 42s that were built promptly set sail for Australia. You can understand why. Van de Stadt designed robust boats, renowned for their seaworthiness. This boat has a deep cockpit with access to the saloon and aft cabins, duplicate controls at the binnacle, in-mast furling for the main and a bow thruster for added control. There is a plethora of winches and navigation equipment. This vessel has only had two owners from new, both meticulous. The first on advice from Tyler’s Boatyard specified a mast 10% higher than standard, offset by additional lead balance on the ... read more

1983 Fisher 37
In the late 1960's two naval architects (David Freeman and Gordon Wyatt) were searching the UK for a GRP motor sailer; a boat like that of the Scandinavian designs which did both sailing and motoring properly and were frustrated that nothing matched their (fairly exacting) standards. So, they designed their own, starting at 30' and from there the Fisher family of yachts began. The fantastic sea-keeping capabilities of these hulls meant that the desire to sail further required a bigger boat! The Fisher 37 was the same shape but the larger overall volume meant her cruising range increased sig... read more

1976 Derecktor Custom 72' Ketch
Built for C Thomas Clagett Jr, an American businessman in 1976, this 72' ketch has had a fascinating history! Built at Derecktor Shipyard (known as America's most accomplished boatbuilder), her early life was spent around Florida and the Bahamas where having a centreboard made cruising that area accessible for a large yacht. She came across the Atlantic and made her way to the Isle of Wight. Her last outing was in 2020 when she sailed across the channel. She is now afloat and does need to be moved from the marina on sale completion. There is a lot of boat here, she has huge liveaboard p... read more

2016 Bavaria 51 Cruiser
Meeting the owner of this Bavaria 51 was a real pleasure. It is always nice to spend time with people that are very close to their boats and hands-on when it comes to taking care of them. She spends her summers used as a charter boat. Hence, she is equipped with gadgets like a flat TV screen and audio system for her guests' entertainment. Inside the spaces are generous. The aft cabins are typical size of this type of boat and each one has a WC/Shower next to it. Moving forward there is the saloon where the TV is also found. Opposite the saloon is the galley with a cooker and a fridge. Th... read more

2012 Character Boats - Post Boat
This beautiful Character Boats Post Boat sailing boat is exceptionally easy on the eye! She could suit couples, friends or families for lovely days out sailing, with plenty of room and stowage galore too. To me, she appears to be pristine - her owner reports that she has only ever seen 4 months afloat - and it shows! She comes with an electric outboard, whose battery has been carefully kept indoors and regularly charged - I think this will really contribute to a fantastically peaceful experience afloat - no noisy petrol engines and fumes! Her owner tells me that her max range on fu... read more

1982 Sampson Marine C Master
This vessel has recently been used as a live aboard. This ferro cement Samson C Master was designed for blue-water cruising. Although she's looking a bit rough around the edges at the moment, there is plenty of space inside this strong hull to make a good and comfortable living area (6 single beds, a master double, a saloon, forepeak and a wheel house). She appears to have a good engine but taking her back to cruising would mean a bit more work but I'm sure it would be well worth it and would make a great project that could be lived aboard whilst the work was carried out. It's worth... read more

1982 Sunwind 29
*** Berthing paid until the end of April 2024 *** This great looking Sunwind 29 feels really ship-shape to me. She offers an inviting, warm interior in a reasonably conventional layout and with classic Scandinavian finishes. This great space down below could make for suitable accommodation afloat, or real comfort for those longer trips. She could be good for weekend cruises with friends and/or family - or short handed with the right experience, or perhaps further afield - either way, she looks like a boat that really needs to be sailed! A few words direct from her owner: "Mu... read more
